Maturity: A “Father’s Day” Reminder.

Christianity is simply well put in this one scripture by John the Baptist.

John 3:30 (3+30=33) “33” meaning maturity or “perfection”. Where this is obviously a very mature statement.

New International Version

“He must become greater; I must become less.”

New Living Translation

“He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.”

English Standard Version

“He must increase, but I must decrease.”

John the “Baptist” and ALL that he represented was the one whom God placed first before Jesus Christ. But John’s placement to forerun The Christ was not about what was right or wrong, but to show order.

For John that was first, made himself last and He that was last was now made first.

Once again,

“He must increase, but I must decrease.”

Remain intimate with God, it is our intimacy with God that produces the needed maturity to remain strong in this world.  ALL things in this world will eventually decrease so that He may increase in our lives.

And when the love of God finally overwhelms you, your ministry has begun and may you now share it with the world.

“By surrendering to God what we love, we will gain it for eternity, but what we try to hold on to in this life will be the very things we will lose.” – MMA

Matthew 10:39 NIV

“Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.”

Inclement Weather.

There are not many things these days that slow mankind down. In fact, if it wasn’t for inclement weather and tragedy, I personally would never take time to be reverend and still for God.

We all had plans this evening, yet God and the weather had other plans. A simple reminder why we were the last thing God created. Lol

But like the scripture states, “the last will be first and the first will be last.” (Mt 20:16)

A scripture not so much about what is right or what is wrong, but a message of order and God’s presence in all things.

“The last will be first and the first last” is a metaphor of what a “circle” is. A symbol of faith and stepping into God’s eternal rest.

Let us be confident that regardless where feel we are at in life, always know that as long as we do our best to keep God first, He will always be with us regardless if we are first or last in anything because He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.

In the name of Jesus Christ,

Amen.

The Creative Mind Has No Fear.

“Creativity is about doing something different with purpose. If we fear change it is simply because we lack creativity which is the product of a lack of inspiration.” – MMA

In other words, fear and creativity cannot co-exist. There cannot be fear in the creative mind because the creative mind has no boundaries.

1 John 4:18 NIV

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

“Creativity” is a defining characteristic of the “Creator”. And when we are dwelling in the “creative” mind, where faith, hope and love reside, the “right” side, there is no fear because fear and creativity cannot co-exist.

Satan cannot “create”, he can only pervert what was already created.

This is what the scripture defines as mankind being made in the “image of God”.

Out of all creation, humans are the only species that will change something solely because we just want to without reason.

The Difference between the Holy Spirit that was in John the Baptist vs. that which was in Jesus Christ.

Luke 1:15

“for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even before he is born.”

The Easter Question:

If someone asks you, “What was the difference between the Holy Spirit that was in Jesus and that what was in John the Baptist?”

What would you tell them?

The answer comes with the definition of what “Holy” is.

The word “Holy” simply means to be separated for a purpose for God.

John the Baptist had “A” Holy Spirit but not “The” Holy Spirit.

The Great men, women and prophets prior to Christ had a “holy” Spirit “separated” for a specific purpose for God, however it WAS NOT THE “Holy” Spirit that was in the Holies of Holies or in the Tabernacle of Moses.

The Holy Spirit of God, the I AM, would have killed John the baptist if it were to dwell in sinful flesh.  The “I Am” was kept behind this veil in the Holy of Holies because of this.  And only “High Priests” could enter in.

So John had A Holy Spirit for a specific purpose but it was NOT “The” Holy Spirit. This is why Jesus had to have been born of a virgin “surrogacy” to bypass the HUMAN sinful blood/DNA.

Mary was simply a “host” an incubator for the Son of God.

According to science, a surrogate mother shares NO BLOOD or DNA with the child.

The Mother feeds the child via the placenta where NO maternal blood is shared. The only time her sinful blood came in contact with Jesus was only via the BIRTH CANAL upon birth where it was simply ON Him vs. IN Him.

So back to the “holy” Spirit in John, it was NOT “The” Holy Spirit as EVIDENCE to the scripture below.

Luke 1:17

“And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous–to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

The Answer: John had the Spirit of Elijah and Jesus Christ was The “I AM”, the Word became flesh and dwelled among us.

So here where it comes full circle.

That Spirit, The Holy Spirit that was IN Christ is now IN you via Acts 2:38 IF you can believe it.

It is written,

Luke 7:28 NIV

“I tell you, among those born of women there is no one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”

Amen?

God bless you all, and let us keep our swords sharp as iron sharpens iron.

Faith: Living beyond the labels of good and evil.

For us to truly live by faith is to do our best to live a life beyond the labels of the knowledge of good and evil, success and failure, right and wrong, male or female, jew or gentile, black and white.

To live by faith is to live a life led and guided by the Holy Spirit. And the HS will always show us which path to take. It is a Spirit of God’s will and order.

Romans 8:28 NIV“And we know that in ALL THINGS God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

One may say, “Wouldn’t living a life beyond the labels of good and evil just make us like a bunch of idle zombies?”

I prefer the term like “sheep” vs. zombies. Lol

The goal is to be reverend and still like sheep to be led by love versus what we are use to in being led by fear, anger, vengeance or hate.   The ability not to prove who is right or wrong, but rather to be a light of God’s promises.

It is simply about maturity. Maturity may NOT always change the circumstances in your life, however it does change our hearts and how we process the circumstances and how we respond to them.

Living a life of “labels” will eventually produce compassion when it will eventually fail.

The difference in our life of living beyond these labels simply places our compassion first vs. last.

Galatians 3 NIV

“23Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

26So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

2 Corinthians 3:17 NIV

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”

Acts 2:38 NIV

“Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

We can rationalize and argue this verse about baptism all we want, but sooner ot later our “faith” has to line up with the “Word”.

Only one was given the honor to hold the keys of Heaven, and it was Peter. If there was someone I would listen to, it would be the one Jesus gave the keys of heaven to.

And there is NO Pastor or church organIzation that has the right to change it.

It is the “name above all names”, let us honor it in baptism where it is literally our testimony of our marriage between Christ and the sinner.

Freely Given.

What I write I always give freely. The passwords are in place to keep what is intimate available to the spiritual mature.

I honor God by not casting these pearls among those that will simply use it as a deposition vs. encouragement and love.

What I write, to say the least is very unique.  Some of it may sound very similar to what others preach, but the difference here is simply the order.  And if it is new to you, then this is a good thing because it is a blessing to have fresh food once in awhile.

Sadly, the consequence for preaching what is on my heart will always be judgement.

Judgement that many will not see me practice what I preach. But that is okay because I don’t mind carrying the same cross that Jesus carried and if He that had NO sin, was accused of sin, then I surely do not stand a chance! Lol

But those that judge will never understand what we preach. And what we preach is grace.  Grace meaning that God will choose the least of us to speak truth. Its undeserving and no pre-holiness required, just faith.

Freedom changes things and making people pay for their “sins” will never change them, look at our prison system! It doesn’t work.

But go and show someone love and grace and forgiveness like what Jesus did and see how this same love changed the world.

“You can only steal from God so many times before you realize that the door to His wealth was left open intentionally.”

Have a blessed Son-day everyone,
Brotherly love,

Today’s 13th Reminder of God’s love.

1 Peter 3:9 NLT (1+3+9=13)

“Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.”

1 Peter 3:9 NLT (1+3+9=13)

“Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.”

In accordance to “The Law” both what is written on tablets and what is written in my heart, I now can see that I truly deserve far worse than what I have received by God and others. It is obvious that I have fallen way short of everyones expectation of me, including God.

But because of Calvary, my burdens here on earth was made very light and my yoke made very easy because of the grace and love of God and others.

I often feel like a spoiled child, and can relate to a “millennial” kid lol. But as a parent, I hope some can see that I spoil my kids also.

But the truth is that we all enjoy blessing our kids whether they are deserving or not. Through good times and bad, we do our best to keep them smiling and thriving irregardless if they appreciate it or not.

Because one day, we all will mature and will look back and see NOT how our parents spoiled us, but instead, how they “loved” us.

“Placing our faith in God first simply prepares our hearts for the knowledge of good and evil that is to come.” -MMA

Have a blessed day and weekend everyone in the name above all names, Jesus Christ, amen.

Brotherly love,

Ray
