Repented. Rebaptized. Reborn. Redefined. Repurposed. Revived.
“First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.” Matthew 23:26
Midtown Ministry Alliance is an Acts 2:38 ministry that provides our small group leaders a safe place to schedule fellowship free of charge, anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
A place desired by Jesus who looked for this oasis in His Father’s temple as “a house of prayer,” without the pressures of having to “buy, sell or give” anything other than your faith. A place free from the usual distractions of public places and the inconveniences of hosting at our homes. A place that a broken soul can find healing and protection.
The Apostle Paul said that “the righteous should live by FAITH” and according to his divine illustration of the Armor of God, “FAITH is a shield”, and that we should live by this principle from first to last.
Everything and everyone is always on the attack of the sinner, however God has raised up this Holy army to defend them.
It is written in the book of Luke Chapter 4, starting at verse 16, that one day Jesus went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:
“The Spirit of the Lord is with me. He has anointed me to tell the Good News to the poor. He has sent me to announce forgiveness to the prisoners of sin and the restoring of sight to the blind, to forgive those who have been shattered by sin, to announce the year of the Lord’s favor.” Then Jesus closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down.”
Later Jesus said, “Today these scriptures have been fulfilled“, and at that time a new era had begun while at the same time He was preparing the way for the next.
Our mission is to complement the local church by providing a loving and mature atmosphere for small groups free of charge. If you have the faith, we have the location.
First of all, I thank you for your faith in visiting our humble online abode. Curiosity is a blessing that is often misdirected. Any curiosity applied to the gospel is very healthy for our body, soul and spirit. In fact, if we had more curiosity for what is spiritual, we would question less what is physical.
Matthew 23:8-12 NIV
“But you are not to be called Rabbi, for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
On behalf of God’s grace through the love and generosity of all of us here at the MMA, our wives, families and friends,
In the name of Jesus Christ, remain faithful, hopeful and most of all loving.
